Analytical Basic Lite (BL) Series is competitively priced
and packed with features, including a high grade stainless
steel weighing pan, easy-to-read LCD, five application programs
including mass unit conversion, counting, animal weighing,
net totaling and % weighing. Options include bi-directional
RS-232C data interface for linking to a Sartorius printer
and to register the data of a safe and fast form or a computer.
Additional optional accessories include: carrying case for
transportation in the field, calibration mass, dust cover
and external battery pack.
 The
analytical BL Series produces steady readings using the high
stability mode and the unique Sartorius weighing system even
if the environmental conditions are not ideal for precision
weighing. The Double Lever System, or DLS, for short
based on its special force transmission design. With
this patented system, Sartorius sets the technological standards
for the new millennium. This new "small"
system is cut from a single block of a special, highly rugged
aluminum alloy using high-speed 21st century milling technology.
The double lever principle offers two decisive advantages:
the design in the area of the pan linkage is highly resistant
to mechanical stress and therefore has exceptionally high
mechanical stability, and the system is about half the size
of the monolithic block
cell found in balances like the Sartorius
GP803S, allowing for a smaller footprint. Like the
monolithic weigh cell, it is cut from a single block of aluminum
and no screw fasteners are needed between functional parts.
This keeps the system less sensitive to fluctuations in temperature,
and with fewer parts there is less chance of failure.
 The
Monolithic DLS system offers unbeatable advantages for daily
use like Incredibly fast response time and Unfailing
reliability and near-zero susceptibility to interference.
The reasons for these considerable advantages are two
fold: the number of individual parts has been reduced by more
than 70% and the mechanical construction has been designed
to last for years of trouble-free operations.
Set it up, turn it on and you'll be "on your weigh".
Weighing doesn't get any easier or faster with the BL-Series.

GC503 has many of the features of an Sartorius BL-Series
Analytical Balance but come
with a lower draft shield height. For
many people the lower draft shield height saves space in
your working environment, but in some situations a higher
draft shield might be needed to accommodate for a tall flask.
The height from the weighing pan to the top of the glass
draft shield is between 5.23
- 6.61 inches for the GC503 verses the Sartorius
BL60S, BL120S & BL210S height is 7.87 inches.
The GC503 does increment
in 0.2mg intervals verses the BL Series is 0.1mg, but the
GC503 comes standard with external cal mass, gem cup and
dust cover at no additional charge |
